Free AI Chat to PDF & Markdown Exporter
Turn a pasted AI chat conversation into a clean, formatted PDF or Markdown file.
Label each turn with “You:” / “ChatGPT:” (or “User:” / “Assistant:”, “Me:” / “Claude:”) at the start of a line. Unlabeled text is treated as part of the previous speaker's turn.

How to use this tool
Paste a conversation copied from ChatGPT, Claude, or any AI chat, labeling each turn with who said it. The tool splits it into turns automatically and shows how many it found.
Download a formatted PDF for sharing or archiving, or export clean Markdown to drop into notes or documentation.
FAQ
- Is my conversation uploaded anywhere?
- No. The PDF and Markdown are generated entirely in your browser. Nothing you paste is sent to a server or any AI provider.
- How do I label who said what?
- Start each turn on a new line with a label like "You:" or "ChatGPT:" (also recognizes "User:" / "Assistant:" and "Me:" / "Claude:"). Everything after a label, including following lines, belongs to that speaker until the next label.
- What if I don't add any labels?
- The whole pasted text is treated as a single turn, so you'll still get a formatted PDF or Markdown file, just without a User/Assistant split.
- Can I export as Markdown instead of PDF?
- Yes. Use "Download as Markdown" or "Copy as Markdown" to get a plain-text version formatted with speaker labels, ready to paste into a notes app or documentation.
